Most of KNT365's items are produced domestically, mainly at our own factory, the KNT365 Lab. We plan, develop, design and produce our products ourselves. Currently, we are based in two locations, the Tokyo office and the lab in Osaka, and we are active mainly through our online store, as well as holding events such as POP-UP all over the country.
We use a machine called a 3D knitting machine to produce a variety of items such as bags, clothes, wallets, and pouches.
We use recycled polyester yarn made from recycled PET bottles, organic cotton, and biodegradable yarn (we are currently exploring other options), so we can greatly reduce the cutting and sewing process. We can produce in small batches, minimizing material loss. There is almost no transportation during the production process, which also reduces CO2 emissions related to transportation. Furthermore, we can produce with a small number of people, which allows for new ways of working and production systems that are different from the past.
