Moonbojang, by KYOBO BOOK CENTRE, is an urban stationery hideout for those truly passionate about reading and writing. Here, visitors can discover the hidden stories behind stationery items worldwide and turn them into little treasures in everyday life.

We are excited to present a special collaboration product featuring Moonbojang’s symbolic brand characters, the Munbangsau, and Co-Knitty from KNT365.

The Story of Moonbojang’s Munbangsau

The main characters of Moonbojang, a squirrel, deer, turtle, and swallow are inspired by the traditional concept of Munbangsau (文房四友), or “The Four Friends of the Study,” referring to the four essential tools once found in a scholar’s room: the brush, ink, inkstone, and paper. Each of these tools carries a traditional meaning:

Brush: Made from squirrel hair
Ink: Created using deer glue
Inkstone: Carved in the shape of a turtle
Paper: The swallow symbolizes the delivery of good news

Moonbojang has reinterpreted these traditional elements in a modern way and embodied them in the form of brand characters.

Through this collaboration with KNT365, we hope to share the depth and charm of stationery’s storytelling with even more people.

Made from recycled PET bottle threads,
We produce our products domestically, mainly at our own factories in Japan.

It is designed to hold a lot of luggage,
It has just the right amount of elasticity, but it rarely stretches out so much that it can't return to its original shape.
If it gets dirty or you have used it a lot, you can wash it at home.
You can keep it clean and use it for a long time.

[Machine Washable]
It can be washed in a washing machine. Putting it in a laundry net will help it last longer.

[Compact]
It can be folded up small and compact.
It's very light and perfect for carrying around.
The jacquard weave is wrinkle-resistant even after washing or folding.

The included band is made from leftover thread, so the color may vary.
