The KNT365 upcycling project Get Back started at the JR Nagoya Takashimaya POP-UP in December last year. This project started as a suggestion from Mr. Nishikawa, a staff member at JR Nagoya Takashimaya who we all love.
One of the things we have always wanted to do is collect, upcycle, and recycle the items that we have purchased. We had been unable to take the first step, but Mr. Nishikawa suggested that we do this, and we made it a reality with the Get Back initiative.
This is a project in which we collect items that you have previously purchased that you can no longer use or that you no longer have use for, and upcycle them into key chains and bags at KNT365's own factory, KNT365Lab.

Nishikawa-san recently visited KNT365Lab in Osaka and saw the staff of the lab working with their hands to create works of art with passion. Nishikawa-san has always had an interest in manufacturing, and after visiting the lab, he thought about how he could come up with an interesting, new approach to planning that would make customers, KNT365, the lab, and JR Nagoya Takashimaya happy, and he came up with a proposal.
Although this was our first time doing this, we received a lot of positive feedback from our customers, and some even participated. Thank you very much. ♡
We received a lot of positive feedback saying that KNT365's products are very durable and there is nothing that we can no longer use or stop using! This also made us really happy.
We would like to thank Mr. Nishikawa and everyone at JR Nagoya Takashimaya for quickly completing the difficult tasks of filing applications for collection with relevant departments and government agencies such as Nagoya City, and creating certificates in order to make the Get Back initiative a reality.
When I spoke to Nishikawa, he said, "It's sad that we live in a world where we just consume things, throwing them away because we no longer use them or can no longer use them. " He said, "I want the world to be a place where collected items are reborn as other items and passed on to someone else. I want this to be the norm!" Get Back is an important project that began with that idea.
The works collected in December will be reborn and will be on display at the JR Nagoya Takashimaya 1F POP-UP starting Wednesday, March 5th! Please come and see the one-of-a-kind works that the KNT365Lab staff created with all their heart♡

Of course, you can also request it.
We will continue to collect these items. We look forward to seeing you there. Anyone who puts their work in the collection box will receive a charity ribbon hair tie as a gift. 🎀 It can be used as an accent for your hairstyle, and it is also cute to use it as a key chain. This charity ribbon is an upcycled item that was commissioned to be made by Koto Kaede no Kai .
